I visited Rochester and I fell in love with this beautiful town. A lot of vintage shops on the high street. I made the right choice to take lunch. The restaurant is warm and inviting atmosphere. I ate a yummy onion and bacon soup with sodourg bread and for the main crispy Pork belly with red cabbage. On my side was a couple and she was eating Meat Balls that looked delicious but unfortunately they didn't have more so I got pork belly. I will be back again and I will try it! Book in advance... it's a very busy place!

We initially stopped her for refreshments but then we decided to order the 'French Cheese Board'. Every cheese on the board was flavorful, velvety, smooth and satisfying. Later, we decided to stay for the small plates served starting at 5pm. And boy. We're glad we did. We ordered the Eggplant fritters, the Korean Chicken Skewers and the Duck Spring Rolls. We savored every single bite. The food was simply superb and pure deliciousness. A big thank you to the owner for serving quality food that is served with love and care.

We had a really lovely breakfast meeting at The Cheese Room Botanicals. Food was superb and very good service. Highly recommended A

First time in the botanicals usually fully booked. Wow. Now we know why. The deli down the road is excellent but this is another level and a great place to sit with the fire on. Some excellent options to choose from including their classic toasties! Vast range of drinks! Attentive service. Sadly non-accessible due to the building being so old.

We hadn't booked but they were able to fit us in for an hour. I had the belly pork Sunday roast. Absolutely delicious!. Good portions, the pork was perfection and it even came with crackling which some establishments seem to remove for some unknown reason. The vegetables were fantastic too. Almost as good as being at Topes! My favourite restaurant of all time. If you know, you know. My friend had a toastie and chips which she also said was delicious but she was also jealous of my belly pork, so we are going to go back soon. Thanks Julie, Chris and team.

First time visiting The Cheese Room and it did not disappoint. The menu was a set one 2 course 27 or 3 courses for 34. You could also choose toasted sandwiches and lighter lunches. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We were able to settle down and browse the menu without being interrupted. We had the 2 courses and had Beef Roast with Yorkshire pudding and amazing potaotes, veg was carrots, parsnip, beetroot and squash all roasted. We also ordered cauliflower cheese which is 6 for 2 people. It was lovely to have cauliflower that was cooked and not raw. The pudding we had was out of this world and couldn't fault anything, we had the cheesecake. It was more on the expensive side than i would usually pay, but it was so worth it. Service charge of 10% is automatically added and this is advertised on their website. Was a lovely experience but would recommend booking.

First time visit today, decided to stop by this gorgeous place as from the outside looked quaint and pretty. When inside wow the place is beautiful. Old wood and the atmosphere feels so luxurious. The service is outstanding although so busy staff were smiling polite and really seemed to enjoy working , I know from experience this isn’t always the case, but the staff really gave off happy vibes. Then the food came and my goodness from presentation to taste every mouthful was out of this world. I’m not one for writing reviews but felt I honestly needed to share this gem of a place. If you’re passing you definitely need to check this place out. We will be back soon
